ECOCERT: a mark of trust
ECOCERT is a globally recognised certification body that has been setting the standard for organic and sustainable practices for over 30 years. Founded in France, it began in agriculture but expanded to sectors like cosmetics and skincare, ensuring that products meet stringent environmental and ethical criteria.
One of its key initiatives is the COSMOS certification, which sets the benchmark for environmentally friendly and socially responsible skincare. Brands that carry this certification commit to:
- Sustainable production and responsible sourcing;
- Thoughtful use of natural resources;
- Protection of biodiversity;
- Avoidance of petrochemical ingredients such as parabens, phenoxyethanol, synthetic fragrances, and artificial colorants;
- No GMOs;
- Recyclable packaging.

What does COSMOS Natural mean?
For a product to be COSMOS Natural certified, every ingredient must be naturally derived, except for a select few approved preservatives. On average, ECOCERT-certified natural skincare contains 99% ingredients of natural origin.
Our COSMOS Natural certified lineup includes our core face care products:

What about COSMOS Organic?
For a product to earn the COSMOS Organic certification, at least 95% of plant-based ingredients must be organic, and 20% of the entire formula (10% for rinse-off products) must be from organic sources. Water and minerals, while natural, don’t count as “organic” since they aren’t derived from agriculture.
Currently, our Nº.31 Nourishing Face Oil is ECOCERT COSMOS Organic certified, ensuring the highest level of purity and sustainability.
